How?? It’s too much!

How do I process the world around me? What can I do? It’s too much, too much pain, too much suffering, too much uncertainty, too much that I don’t understand.
LOVE. That’s the answer, and more specifically, God’s love for all of us.
Is there someone you are willing to die for? I would think there would be some of us who would say absolutely (insert a loved one’s name), but some may say no, not at all. Whatever your answer is, it pales in comparison to the reminder of God’s love for us in Romans 5:8.
“But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” (Romans 5:8). God does not have just a few people He loves. No, God loves us all! When I read this verse to start my week, I am overwhelmed at the power of His love! I’m excited to dive into this scripture this week, discover its meaning for me, and learn how I can love more like that.
I’m continuing my focus for the month of September. I invite you to explore how GOD IS LOVE with me through His Word in the Scriptures. I will focus on a few verses a week and go deeper in my FAITH:
- Focus: How can I focus on God’s love in tough times and at the same time let His love spill to others? (Monday)
- Accept a Challenge: I’ll be sharing a new way to spread our testimonies and tell others of God’s love for them. (Tuesday)
- In-Depth: Go deeper and learn more about this week’s verse together (Wednesday)
- Tune In with Jesus: Share a worship song to feel and know God’s love (Thursday)
- Happiness & Joy: Celebrate how God is working in our lives! (Friday)
God, I don’t fully understand how you loved us ALL so deeply that you sent Your Son to die for my sins. I pray that I can hear your whispers this week, learn to fully accept your love, and find new ways to share it with others. Amen.
