These lyrics hit me in a different way this week. I love when God sends the perfect song, bible verse, or even whisper of a thought when you need it most. 

I am reminded that God is with us through it all. When I’m excited about my new job, I know God is right there with me, jumping for joy too! I’m talking about bubbling over praise, car ride worship jams with Jesus, and prayers of gratitude for the chance to do what  I am most passionate about, loving God and helping the next generation find Him. After being laid off from my previous job, God led me to my current role as Associate Director of Student Ministry, something I never even knew was possible. It was truly part of His plan!

In the exact same moment, I am reminded that God is also with me in the moments of stress, worry, and uncertainty this week as I look for a second job to help me make ends meet, allowing me to continue what I am passionate about in my current church position. 

Focusing on this verse this week (Philippians 1:6) and this song, God is letting me know He’s got me and has a plan that I can’t even imagine yet! My Bloggin’ Peeps, that Good News goes for you too. God’s got you too! 

God, I pray that every person reading this hears Your voice this week, may it be you cheering them on in celebrations in their lives or comforting through the ‘floods and fires’ they may be going through. Thank you for loving us all so well, God. I love you! Amen.
