Raise your hand if you had a busy day this week, or if you’re having a busy day NOW!
I am in a busy, but amazing week as I write this, and even in this moment of typing out today’s blog. BUT, I always try to find ways to connect with God in meaningful, not rushed ways. I’ll be honest, I have not always been this way and would ‘skip’ days, weeks, and even longer where I did not truly connect with God.
If you are reading this and recognize that your time with God has felt rushed or missing lately, know this: you are not alone, you are not broken, and you are never too far for Him to meet you today.
I also want to give you three quick ways you can connect with God on your busy days:
- Prayer: It can be an eyes-closed moment or a conversation as you drive or get ready for the day. I love having on-the-go prayers with God, and I believe He loves them, too, because He wants a relationship with us.
- Worship Music or Podcast: Pop those earbuds in at work, crank up the worship music in your car, literally anytime and anywhere, thanks to the convenience of our phones!
- Worship Initiative: FREE devo with music daily from Shane & Shane that is amazing! Great to sit and listen or listen on the go! You can even have it sent in a text message in the morning to remind you (I do this myself!).
Friends, it’s okay to be busy, and we all have busy days or seasons. The important thing is to connect with God daily and to slow down to make a deep connection with your Father God; it’s okay that it looks different on those busy days. You are doing amazing, and God sees that!
See you in the next post,
with faith and a little fur 🐾
