Courage to step out into the choppy water.

Courage to keep his eyes on Jesus.

Courage to trust God.

Courage to believe in miracles. 

Then…

Failure when he looked down.

Failure when he allowed the waves to distract him. 

Failure when he took his eyes off Jesus. 

Failure when he doubted Jesus’ power. 

But there was a….

Savior who immediately reached out.

Savior who was there through his doubts.

Savior who never left him when he failed.

Savior who lovingly pulled him to safety.
